Why my economy always crash ?
Hello everybody
I take example from the last game, campaign mission, broker. start 400k shut down at 1:30 am -200k.
As soon as I went through the Cold War era it collapsed. I built nuclear power plant, required chocolate factories and a plastic factory as well as jewelry. there is already a weapons factory and a toys factories ( required ) .
At some point, in every game, I always start losing and having rebels. ideas or suggestions?
thank you

Make sure you always start with a good set of base industry. A good selection of ranches , plantations etc. I always usually start off with logging as well , always can use logs and planks but can also have a pretty stable boat making set up long into the end game. I maybe throw some rum and tannery but never really go full factory set up till as late as possible until i know im growing well.

Hi
Thank you for your reply

Yes I had the boat construction line , not the rum . Which one is the best plantation?

Thank you

Copied from a reddit chat:
Colonial: Rum and Gold
World Wars: Cloth and Cigars
Cold war: Cars, Boats, Furniture, Chocolate

Although I did see some discussion that boat isn't really that profitable, especially on maps with little trees. I tend to stick to Rum and Cigar and venture to other exports in later eras as rum became quite useless later on.

You need sugar for rum. but its best to set up as many different types of plantations/ ranches as you get the bonus for multi culture but also good for having a good selection of base products to give you more options later on. Im not sure if you play any of the campaign missions but a few of the early ones forces you to get to understand the importance of early industry sync.
Hi all

Ok so it's better to start with Rum and some mining . But I don't understand if the boats are profitable or not .

The other problems are the mandatory missions in the campaign :steammocking:
