Tropico 6 missions vs. campaign, no "building from scratch"?
I am a big fan of Tropico 4 and had to realize that there is no real campaign in Tropico 6, only single missions.
In Tropico 4, most missions started with just Palace, Construction office, Docks and transport Office.
In Tropico 6, I already have various buildings like a theater at the start of the 2nd mission, even though I don't even know these buildings. You are not introduced slowly at all, there is even already extended production like a sawmill or other buildings.
In Tropico-4 you started every mission with 50 people, now i have 250 people in Mission-2.
I already feel overwhelmed, because there are "feeled" 50 buildings at the start, but you do not know any of them (neither in content nor visually).

For me it is the opposite of Tropico 4 or even games like Anno, mostly loved by the players because they start building from scratch, at least the first missions and everything else is slow progress from mission to mission.

Is there a way to reach this goal (we dont speak about sandbox) for example destroying every object at mission start (only constr. office and so on will stay)?
Some1 tried this out successfully or will I lose money and what will happen to those 250 starting people and so on...

Funny T6-fanboy-guy, you never played T4 it seems. Please read your own link better, where the gamer starts with several buildings in an end-mission:

"Santana managed to destroy all industry on the island before leaving and soon sends a message to say he planted explosives in the island's power plant as well, demolishing it. "
--> all of the buildings will be destroyed the first minutes by the general

And also if not, there would be a difference between starting with 30 buildings+technology in mission 1 or 2 (!) or in one of the end-missions, so mission 15.

But ty, with your link you stated my arguement with "building from scratch"

I hate that they start you with buildings; I played on normal difficulty and was able to demolish basically everything at the start without losing, so I could rebuild more efficiently/effectively. You can also get away with relocating buildings until your economy is strong enough to demolish them for better ones.
