Not working on Mac

This games not working on my Macs, I have the newest Mac and it doesn't work, I tried it on my older Mac that hasn't been updated (so uses the old game formats) and it doesn't work on that. It just instantly crashes when you try to load it. :(

The newest Macs have had an update where they can't run most games as they are using Apple Chips so a lot of games are either updating to only these macs or not updating and you can only play them on older Macs. So it does matter how new the system is.

And it still won't matter if you don't meet the requirements which you still refuse to share. 9 out of 10 mac users who complain that the game doesn't work have systems that are extremely low end and typically without even a discreet graphics card.

Just saying macbook pro doesn't tell anyone what your actual system specs are.

I'm also experiencing crashing on entering the game world from the menu, whether via new game or a save. Macbook Pro 16" M1 Max.

I love how most mac users refuse to post system specs and just believe they should meet the requirements, when most macs don't even have the discrete video card required to run the game.

A lot of games / game engines won't work properly if the RAM is shared with an onboard, a discrete GPU is listed as a requirement for this game, even for a mac.

Most Mac problems with Tropico 6 are indeed related to hardware incompatibilities, such as not meeting the minimum requirements or M1 incompatibilities.

I am using M1max with 24GB ram. The game is running but performance is poor. Fans are quite noise.

Do you guys have any plans for Apple Silicon improvements?
