Just saying macbook pro doesn't tell anyone what your actual system specs are.
A lot of games / game engines won't work properly if the RAM is shared with an onboard, a discrete GPU is listed as a requirement for this game, even for a mac.
Most Mac problems with Tropico 6 are indeed related to hardware incompatibilities, such as not meeting the minimum requirements or M1 incompatibilities.
