Transport is a late game misery

I've tried everything. I really have.

Bus stations + parking garages + metro stations. All I end up with is massive crime safety penalties, and people getting stuck for months in the metro.

It's the biggest problem with the game, IMO. I have factories filled to the brim with goods because there are only three workers in them with the various upgrades, but nobody's ever able to make it to the office.

Earlier eras are fine. But when you get to the modern era and have 4,000 Tropicans, none of them are able to get anywhere, even when you have them all in neighbourhoods with all the services they need and multiple transport options to get to work.

I've logged about 100 hours on the game, and it's the same every time.

Obviously this isn't just a pointless moan, because I've logged 100 or more hours - I love the game.

But transport is so frustrating that it probably rises to the level of a bug, if not an outright design flaw.

Can something be done about it?

Not his fault he didn't know about some of the bugs with some of the buildings and features. I don't give AF if Tropicans get stuck on buses of death. It's just a game.

Get rid of buses and parking decks! Just stick with Metro.

No Tropico game has been good at dealing with large populations.

The default population limit is 2000, can the game's basic transport systems handle that?

You are absolutely right that earlier eras are made perfectly. But modern eras have already done ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Bus parks with 2 stops - nonsense, which I have never met anywhere else !!!
