Super frustrated-- my game won't run
I've tried eight times now to get past the opening screen of Tropico 6, and it crashes right at the end of the load every time.

Then I get this message (including a logID):

You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.

I have no idea how to change any settings and there is no way to contact any tech support.
Basically a waste of $20.

My Railway Empire game, also on Steam, runs just fine on the same computer. Can anyone help me, or suggest where I can go to get some personal assistance?

do you have anything Asus Aura-related running in the background?
If so, please disable all Asus Aura programs running, before starting the game.
This should get this sorted already.

I have a similar issue.

Can't even get to the main menu. After I get past the unreal engine and those other brands animations, I just get a black screen with the loading icon on the corner. It won't go further than that. I don't have ASUS Aura.

Shame cause the game was working fine the other week. I take a bit of break and now I can't even play. Tried validating and a hard reinstall. Currently uninstalled it :(

If you are not familiar getting those details, simply do as following:
  • Click 'Steam Help' menu (top left of your Steam-client window).
  • Select second-last option 'System Information' in the dropdown menu.
  • Right-click in the popped-up window and select 'Copy all text to clipboard'

same prooblem too, i was just fine playing the game yesterday but today when i try log in to the game, the game just wont start. i think i have not asus aura running in the background, or can u show me the way how to check it. PLEASE HELP.

Hi Goskal,
what has changed on your end since yesterday? As there was no new update to the game.
However, first thing that caught my eye, is your CPU already being a bottleneck, as it is below the required 3,0Ghz, but just slightly so.
Additionally, first of all I would recommend updating your graphic card drivers, as yours are 7 months old. As those are old, also let the Windows Update run and check, if new updates are available here as well and install those.
