Knowledge Production
I'm a bit confused about Knowledge Production. Do Knowledge points only come from the library? I'm sure I saw something about this in the tutorial but now I'm not sure. Also I don't seem to be getting any in the Colonial Era, even though I have a library. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Besides the library, in later eras you can build the Research Lab. You can also buy knowledge points from the Broker, but not until the World Wars. The library is only producing knowledge points when there is actually someone in the building working. All Tropicans are fully simulated and will pursue other needs like food, entertainment and religion. While they are off doing that, they are not at the library working and not producing knowledge points. So, you should have been producing some knowledge points during the Colonial Era as long as you had high school educated works hired at the library and they had access to other happiness needs that did not take them a long walk to fulfill. There are also upgrades to the library to speed up the production.
