What does Beauty do?
Question as in the title. At least in World Wars Era, I don't see any building or happiness benefits from surrounding beauty. Does this change later, am I missing something or...?

It becomes very important when you start to build your tourism, but even in the World War Era some builds like taverns benefit from beauty.

In general, residential buildings and entertainment buildings benefit from beauty. It is sometimes listed in the building description, but not always.

check "cocktail bar" effectiveness tab and you'll see bonus for beauty
but for some other buildings (like movie theater) there will be no such bonus
