Work shift problems
I have about 10 logging camps set up and at any time I have maybe 5 people actually doing their job. out of the 6 slots I'm lucky if one person is actually working in each camp.

I have houses for them right across the street, I have a parking garage with free wheels right next to where they work. The camps are all in green forest areas. There is nothing in the inventory no logs backed up. I even have the Employee of the month edict to make them work double shifts and no one is showing up. They're all either at home or at church just sitting there.

Any ideas?

This Tropico is super bad about work AI compared to the other 5. Using the same strats that worked well in the first 5 doesn't seem to work in this one. Workers often will not choose housing near their work, and will walk across town past service buildings to get to ones across the map for no reason. They won't take buses or cars when available and generally spend about 10% of their time actually working. It's super frustrating.

This can be seen by how many people are complaining about how many teamsters you have to build in 6 vs the previous games. Its like 1 teamster station per 2 production buildings. Previous games you could get by with 2 or 3 in the mid game and end a map with 4-6. In this one, you need 10-12 DOUBLE shifted teamster buildings because only 2 people will be working at each one at a time. The work AI is super busted. Hopefully they patch it.

the Tropicans have theire own Life .. if they not at work .. . Look where they are. At Home or Church ? How how far is the Church and the Home. .. from the work place? They will need hours to get there .. ?

Build a barrack, a chapel and a Taverne next to them . .and they will be back at Work very faster ..

Just to note, Employee of the Month doesn't affect logging camps, I think. It doubles shifts for industry and mining, but logging camps are neither.
