How to set arrested person free?

Please help me. I arrested a person. Crown order me to do that. Now I want give him free.

There's no right-click option on people in the dungeon so it's not possible without demolishing the dungeon.
I usually ignore those demands from the Crown as I don't want to arrest revolutionaries.

Arrested people will be released after a while if I remember correct. When he is "corrected".

is this still the way it works. i just advanced to the world wars era and want to set all my royalists free.

The moment you advance to World Wars era, all demands from the Crown will be obsolete. Yes, the dungeon or prison will still release them, after they are "corrected". (In fact, wait until they are "corrected" that way their rating towards you is not so low.)

i honestly just demolished by dungeon and sent the guards and royalists back to work.
