Hydroponic Plantation vs "normal" Plantation efficiency
So, does anybody know how much both of these produce per minute/month or whatever? is one hydroponic plantation equivalent to one normal plantation?

you do loose the sweet 80% bonus multicultur can give you (if you have all 9 plantation types "nearby") and you need electricity for it, also for pineapple, you also loose the 10% boost each pinapple plantation can give you.

on the other side, you can fit 4 hydroponics in the same space a single plantation needs and you can ignore the soil-quality.

so if you have the electricity and money to turn 1 plantation into 4, or if you use less than 6 different crops (excluding pinapple) it is definitly worth the change

Well the hydroponics dont have the pineable upgrade boost making them useless

isnt that only valid for pineapples? all other crops are not affected by this buff

Yes there's no point in upgrading a single pineapple plantation, it's not like sugar plantations which gives a boost to all nearby plantations.

And a hydro farm also uses 4 less workers. Thats 36 less workers for all them 9 unique resources.

Aside from the electricity requirement and 4 less workers, I would like to add that hydroponics also require high school educated workers. With normal plantations, it just requires uneducated workers.
