So, stupid question, but clearly what does the Eiffel Tower effect does?

The in-game description says that it broadcast every radio station and TV channel from the related buildings. What does this clearly means?

Does that means that each TV and Radio stations use every work modes at the same time, which would be a bit strange since it means you can't control which faction-changing mode you want ? Or does that means that the stations radius of effect is increased to cover the whole island, which would mean that this is not shown when building a new station ?

(And an extra question, which landmark do you take during the World Wars? I couldn't decide on one specific, except I know I don't need the Hikone Castle bonus)

about the eiffel tower: it should make TV and Radio stations cover the whole island, not just an area around it. so basicly you only need one TV and 1 Radio station for their effect to reach every citicen. more of them only allow you to use different work modes at the same time and give a flat bonus to freedom.

I don't think it actually works. I created a radio station next to my Eiffel Tower (which is not near the vast majority of my city). I then watched it for many months and checked in across many years, according to its statistics page, it is reaching only a few people a year. Meanwhile, my radio station sitting right in the middle of my industrial zone is reaching thousands of people a year.

Yeah, that's why I was wondering if that was it's effect as well. This, plus the fact that that kind of effect doesn't make much sense to me.

Saw this as I was looking for an answer to what it does. I've noticed it doesn't actually work. I know this because I placed five radio stations in a bundle on one island (one for communist, environmentalist, religious, intellecutal and open minded). I found political membership didn't reflect using the eiffel tower at all (I lost members from poor placement). Membership around the radio stations were as expected but I couldn't find this on other islands, and inconclusively around the monument itself. Looks to be useless if not used for tourist income
