How to do crown trade route?

I have a couple of trade routes with the crown. I have teamsters moving the stuff that I do have and I have all types of ports/harbors and boats come and go. Still cannot continue to play because I didnt have a crown route? What am I doing wrong?

just use the trade button? and export or import goods what the misson says with the crown izi ...

Sometimes the Crown asks for an import trade route.

I cannot import anything. Just export. The mission does not specify what to export. I can only export 2 things as of now. Strange mission for being the first isle and if I remember the first mission in the game.

I had to wait quite a while before a window popped up to say I had completed the trade. It took a little over 56 months for my trade with the crown to finish.

This may seem a bit silly but if you're exporting have you made sure you actually have the good you picked? Because you can select any good on the list even if you aren't producing it.

Sorry what? There are never zero import routes available. Click the thing that looks like a ship's wheel in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. On the left most tab is all the trade routes available. Click sort (first column) and you'll see all the import (green) and export (red) routes. Select an import route that has the crown symbol next to it (purple?) and add it. You will slowly import that item until the route amount has been completed. You can import anything even if you don't consume it. So pick the smallest amount since you won't always need what they're asking.
