Man... wouldn't it be great if the main game page actually said HOW it is multiplayer instead of requiring people to scour the internet for that info?
I actually remember Phantom Pain and how it advertised Multiplayer... Note: There was no actual multiplayer in any meaningful way (you could rob people's bases... but they cannot see or interact with you)
Will Tropico 6 will have multiplayer support?
Yes, Tropico 6 will feature multiplayer for up to 4 players.
What multiplayer modes can be expected?/
What are the victory conditions in Tropico 6?
The game can be open-ended, but there are some victory conditions such as “Reach x amount in your Treasury / Swiss Bank Account”, “Have x amount of tourists on your island”, “Earn x amount of Victory points by completing tasks”, “Have x amount of World Wonders on your island”, etc.
get gut
Well, that doesn't clarify anything, except that there will be multiplayer...
But will it be co-op? Multiple archipelagos? All players on one map? Or just the possibility to trade with one another?
I still don't know how this is supposed to work.
You can claim other island with Swiss account money (but not others players islands).
You can play in team but I haven't found any meaningful way to actually aid each other beside the fact that you won't attack each other (in a military way I mean).
Finally, if you aren't teammate, you can attack each other with military unit I think, but not sure since I didn't try that.
It is pretty wide open and allows the players to make up their own rules and win conditions, even multiple win conditions.
I hope this helps, I know I am leave stuff out, so if you have any specific question, fell free to ask.
