I am able to launch the Game but then before the main menu shows up it will crash to desktop and give me the same UE4 Error message that has been mentioned.
Changing the Date or time didn't do anything for me.
Hi Ostejohn,
do you happen to own an TUF5 gaming keyboard with "Aura Ready" Sync support? If so, there is a known issue with the Aura drivers for this keyboard.
Could you try plugging the keyboard off while loading the game (only plug it in after you are in the main menu)? Alternatively, you can also pass the command line option "-noaura" to the game (right-click on steam, choose "Properties.." and then "Set Launch Options"). Or you could de-install the software "AURA" and "Aura Services" (if you don't care about the keyboard blinkenlights anyway).
The specific problem with the TUF keyboard will be fixed in one of the next patches (can't say exactly when, though), but if you happen to have an other devices that support Aura-sync, could you please write me an message with the exact model of the devices you have?
Good to hear. :)
Say.. do you have an TUF K5 Gaming keyboard (https://www.asus.com/us/Keyboards-Mice/TUF-Gaming-K5/) or do you use an other Aura Sync device? (And if so, which one?) Or did you not have any Aura Sync devices plugged in at all?
No, i only use Aura for motherboard and Gskill ram. My keyboard is Corsair so i use iCue.
I have Armoury crate(aura) , razer synapse and icue installed.
Is there a config file or anything in the game folder that I could edit and turn it off?
AFAIK, the current galaxy client can not set the command line arguments directly anymore (Devs seem to be already aware of that and promised to include the feature in a future release). So if you are used to launch your games via the GoG Galaxy client, its not that easy.. But maybe someone has better news here? :)
Until then, by far the easiest solution is to create an own shortcut to the Tropico.exe in your Gog install folder (drag C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Tropico6\Tropico6.exe to your desktop while holding down Alt) and then add the "-noaura" in the property settings (select the newly created shortcut and press Alt-Enter, then add -noaura under "Link Target" line so the whole line should be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Tropico6\Tropico6.exe" -noaura).
Thanks for your fast response.
It is working flawless now and i can get past the loading Screen :)
i own a steelseries Apex M800 keyboard, but yes, i have the Aura thing installed.. ill perfer you patch your game, and then we will try again.i dont want to unplug stuff and/or reinstall things to "work around" your stuff..
in advance, thanks.

@michele.cavallotti, your laptop barely meets minimum system requirements. Tropico 6 needs a CPU of at least 3,0 GHz on all four cores. Your system only offers 1,30GHz.
Additionally, your laptop just has a mobile chip graphics card which is always inferior to a dedicated GPU as listed in our official system requirements.
Tropico 6 minimum/recommended requirements can be found on the official store page.

@McMurph, could you please share more details on your system?
If you are not familiar with getting those details, simply do as follows:
Take care
