What OS are you on?
On the bugs forum there's a pinned comment from the devs that have a list of things you could try.
The game needs directx 11.1 and Win 7 needs SP1. Use DXDIAG to check this.
Mac version is still in beta, Linux version got its own problems.
Does your PC meet the minimum requirements?
9 out of 10 people who refuse to post their specs and demand their system is good enough, eventually post their specs and turn out to be way under the requirement
Maybe you are that 10% who actually is above specs when they claim it, but having seen 100's of these threads fly by, the majority of people who can't run the game are below the requirements, usually by a lot
Bottom line: no one can help you if you can't be bothered to provide:
1. System specs
2. details of the actual issue as in: when exactly does it crash, after doing what
3. Things you've actually tried (and be honest ~ I'll tell someone to verify their game files, they'll claim they did and it "didn't work" then they'll come back a few days later and admit they hadn't tried it ~ only to find out that fixed it for them)
No one can attempt to help you if you can't be bothered to answer questions. You expect us to just read your mind and make guesses.
Also note: your beta play time DOES NOT count towards your refund, it never does on Steam. This is repeated not just in the steam rules but several times on this forum where it's been asked and answered repeatedly.
Threads like this don't get dev responses because no ones bothering to post any information that would be helpful to diagnose the problem. And let's be straight about this, there's an entire forum for bug reports and tech support. You aren't even in the correct forum and you've likely not even bothered to read any of the possible solutions already posted:

I have to agree with @Kunovega.
Without proper information, it is impossible for us (officials like me, or other helpful community-members) to help and get this sorted properly.
Therefore, when it comes to crashes, first thing to do is posting your system specs OS+bit, CPU, GPU and RAM. When this is sorted, the digging begins and more details might be required and asked for.

RTX 2080Ti
32.0 GB RAM
So far I've tried all the solutions that have been posted including the asus aura and windows fix and nothings worked. Pretty much I load in the game and once it gets to the loading screen prior to main menu it crashes to desktop. Idk what's causing it to be honest.
have you tried starting a new game/savegame with the same outcome, when loading it?

Do you have any other software running? Razer Synapse, afterburner, etc ?
windows 10, 64 bits
i5-9600k
16gb ram
rtx 2070

Just to make sure, you really did everything you can do on your end, including:
- Running the game as administrator in the first place
- Have set exceptions for Steam and Tropico 6 in all kinds of installed Malware-/Anti-Virus-/Firewall software (Norton, BitDefender, Windows Defender, Avast, Windows Firewall, and what else falls into this category)
- Another player mentioned he had lighting on his hardware, which was not controlled by any Ausus software, but as soon as disabled in the BIOS, he had no problems anymore.
- All drivers up to date? Especially graphic card?
- Did you ran an "verify integrity of game cache" check on Steam?
- Any additional software that might intervene, or even restrict games?
Last but not least: Since when do those crashes happen? Since mentioned above driver updates, since the game update?
-cheers
