Multiplayer games, by definition, are real time and not saveable. I mean, where do you save it? Whose account? And how do you start it up again if one person is missing?

yep it's very sad... they sell an unfinished game as a final release... what's up with that devs?

THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH IT WITHOUT A MP SAVE OPTION

You mean like every other multiplayer strategy/city builder game in existence? The host saves the game, and when people go to play again the host loads the save to a lobby and everyone rejoins that lobby, then they all load in together and resume where they left off. And if someone isnt there you just don't play that save, its pretty simple. I have played Civ matches with 7 other people and it took us about 3 weekends to finish the game.

for Raven's strange comment, it took me too much time to answer. sounded to me like a troll or kiddie who has no idea but has a big mouth.

Thank you for your efforts CapitalTwo!

Just got disconnected on a 2-player game. Didn't even make it past the Cold-War era. Very frustrating without the ability to save preemptively.
I'll continue to play SP in my off-time, because I enjoy it. But Tropico publishers are losing countless hours of playtime from myself and many others. They're most likely losing sales, too, due to their unstable MP games.
I'm assuming it will be in their next update...which can't come any sooner.

It feels ridicolous that Tropico 6 still doesn't have a MP save option. Anno 1800 has a MP save option so seamless that it has made it feel even more absurd that I can't save a MP Tropico game that I'd continue with my friends in multiple sittings. I really hope that the Tropico 6 devs keep fixing bugs and even add more features/content as free updates to make up for what feels like a severe lack of things to do/innovation compared to previous titles.

now it is how it had to come ..
tropico is basically a good game, but due to the many bugs and the lack of a multiplayer save function, my friends and I are playing the new anno.
It is a real game.
it is ready and comes without bugs therefore .. and you stuck ... it is possible to save a multiplayer game!!!!
Therefore, my recommendation to all who do not agree with the current state of tropico:
get anno, it is fun and the mp mode is very good playable. unfortunately el presidente is missing, but I can do without, as long as the game includes all basefunctions and does not feel like a beta ..
It is pathetic that I am trimmed today on such low expectations ...

thanks kalypso for making your contribution to degenerate and destroy the world of computer games ..

What are you even talking about? Look at any paradox game or anno, for example. For some reason their games have a save option.
