Politics icons - what do they mean
Hi everyone. There's something that's puzzling me that I can't find the answer to.

The politics icon always tends to have the attention exclamation mark on it, like I should do something. But I'm not sure what.

Furthermore one of the powers will have a gold star by it and a gold circle by it - but again I don't know what either means.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Powers with gold stars have embassies. I *think* the gold circle means an alliance is possible.

I don't know if it's a bug, but the exclamation point is constantly on the politics tab when I'm playing. You should not really be doing all of the available things in the global politics menu every time (for instance, you don't want to be making and breaking alliances all the time). This means that the politics tab for me constantly has an exclamation point. This is sadly distracting and also defeats the purpose of the exclamation mark (since it's on all the time). Is this a bug or intended?
