Multi culture ( farms ) does not stack?
Got 4 farms in each other vicinity ( all different crops ) but i only get 10% multi culture efficieny bonus. I expected 30% ( 3 other farms so each 10% )

Someone explain?

It appears you now need to have the farmhouse in the circle, so if you built them back to back they are only getting the multiculture bonus from the one right next to them. It seems you would be better off building the plantations across the road from each other. But don't quote me on that because I am not 100% sure that is even completely correct.

I will quote you on this because it is correct. When you click on a farm with multi-culture you will get a large blue circle. You need the other farmhouses to be within that circle in order to gain the bonus.

You will know which farms are applying the bonus because the farmhouse will light up with a light blue colour.

Hope that helps.

Yeah then it is bugged, i got clearly 3 OTHER farmhouses in the circle and they are blue but stil get 20% bonus. ( should be 30 )

That is interesting. I have never run into this bug.

Can you post a screenshot? I will assume the other 3 farmhouses are all different from eachother and different from the 1 in question (so 4 different crop types)?

The farmhouse needs to be in the circle and it needs to be a different crop and all of them set to multi

4 different crops would be a 30% bonus and only if they all fall within the circle, its been working fine for me

To be clear, all 4 farms are on Multi culture mode

Isn't the one in front of the factory a tobacco farm as well ?

Kyouka reported this in the bug sub forum. He is saying the entire plantation has to be within the circle. This seems to be correct. In your screen shot the top plantation is not completely within the circle.

I have the same problem. I hope there's another patch coming.

This is taking too long :-(
this appears to be the case as well for manure fertilization, and since no field is ever complete within the blue circle, it just doesn't work.
i agree the previous way was OP, but this is just bollocks now

Here's a set-up for you: https://i.imgur.com/XsCZjef.jpg
10 fields (2 sugar for +20% efficiency bonus) + 4 ranches (They only give +10% to the closest field)

I cannot get the plantation system to work. I have the following setup:

Suger - Suger - Banana

Cattle - Cattle - Pineapple

Cocoa - Cotton

The suger plantation next to the Banana plantation is covered by the Multi-Culture work mode from: Banana, Pineapple, Cotton, Cocoa and by one the Manure Fertilizer by one of the cattle ranches.

All the plantations are using the Multi-Culture work mode, an by my account the suger plantation efficiency calculation should look like this:

Work mode -40%
Fertility -10%
Multi Culture +40
Manure Fertilizer +10
Efficiency 100%

But in fact it only calculates +20 from Multi Culture and do not register the Manure Fertilizer update from the cattle ranch. So it looks like this:

Work mode -40%
Fertility -10%
Multiculture 20%
Efficiency 70%

Do anybody know what is going on?

P.S. I also just discovered, that the fertility slowly drops, even though I using Multi Culture

All of them need to be on multiculture

Cattle bonus even when it was working, does not stack

Ranches degrade soil around them unless put on pasture prohibition
Dan Uhrenfeldt Jun 24, 2019 @ 12:56pm
So the cattle ranch upgrade is not working.

All ranches are set to pasture prohibition and all plantations are set to multi culture and still the fertility degrades and I cannot get over 20% bonus from multi culture or manure fertilizer, even when the plantation is within range of 4 other plantations with different crops and within range of one cattle ranch with the manure fertilizer upgrade.
