Regrow natural trees

It is sad when the natural, unreplaceable trees get destroyed, especially by a shack. It hurts the aesthetics of the island in my opinion.

Suggestion. (1) make natural trees regrow passively. (2) have a landscaping ability where you place the cursor (e.g. a 4x4 grid) over an area and regrow trees in that area.

Obviously I'm not suggesting that trees should grow over other things, as that would get messy. But around building and roads is fine.

have you ever used the reforestation upgrade in a logging camp?

Last time I used it, it was in a very localised area around the logging camp. I'm talking more about full island regrowth and a freehand tool.

i guess natural regrowth according the rainfall/humidity map would be nice, if isn't already implemented.

the free hand tool though, should cost some money to use it, after all trees are very useful things

I think that regrowing trees is a good idea for Tropico, trees make your cities look much nicer and it covers up those ugly buildings.

I would LOVE to see the trees regrow, it would have a big impact on my gameplay.
Right now I meticulously choose the placement of each building trying not to remove the tropics from my Tropico. Sure the game can include the theme about human-nature relationship, but I would love it even more with regrowing.

i agree with this whole heartedly ;), as i'd love to be able to "hide" the road towards my pirates cove to give it that "the pirates base should be hidden from sight"
