NOTE: The Bus is an Early Access game, so it could have some bugs, crashes, freezes, optimization problems, and so on until it's Work In Progress. We're in a Phase 1., and if you saw the last DevUpdate, then you could hear that, we'll get a lots of good things in this year as you heard it in the video, but these feature's release date could change. We'll get more buses, lines, more accessable parts of Berlin in the game, and more features of course.
You can follow the development on the Trello page: https://trello.com/b/kGhFZOke/the-bus-early-access-roadmap
Are you stoned? OSMI 2 has graphics from 2006, looks like an old Nintendo 64 game. No shadows, no reflections, garbage outdated lighting effects. The Bus looks photorealistic by comparison.
The essence is not in graphics. Firstly It is simulator aspect. Cleary in terms of driving as a transport vehicle ( realistic physics, matching sound of different mechanical parts while driving). In terms of simulating- the life of bus depot where you can spawn a lot of buses, the possibility to chose a huge verity of rolling stock for routs. Freedom in moding - in OMSI 2 you can create any replica of the real bus, and some buses are real virtual technical masterpieces.
In all this core realistic aspects 'The Bus" looks very poor and limited game comparing with OMSI 2.
The graphics is mostly for schoolboys )
It's supposed to be a bus simulator, there should be A.I. buses driving around on routes, it creates immersion. It's just another half arsed game from TML and they seem to have no intention of improving it. It kills the immersion when you drive into an area that in real life would have several buses waiting but in game you are literally the only one there.
Check their roadmap page, AI buses are work in progress.

"No intention of improving it"? There are updates quite often, with improvements. It has come a long way from when I first tried it.
The game is in early access, what did you expect? It's been clear from the beginning that this was not the final release of the game yet.
