Years later, that one pixel made me curious — what if the mouse could trace a lemniscate precisely? That's the first time I stepped into parametric equation space. The part of getting lemniscate equation is straightforward from the internet, but making the mouse trace it has a bit challenge. It took a while to figure out though. Few years later, the steady lemniscate movement started to feel boring. That had me thinking — what if there's gravity? The cursor accelerates going downward, decelerates climbing back up just like the rollercoaster. Imagining it was the easy part, but to get it implemented is pretty challenging. This had me scratch my head a while. But once I've done with it, it is something truly mesmerizing to watch.

That moment, I realise the mouse was no longer just moving, it was dancing.

And another few years later, one day I watched a YouTube video — a creator adding a constant to a parametric equation, and the output shifted. Something about that stayed with me. After work I tried it and went further — aside adding constant, I started modifying the equation itself. Something appeared on screen I had never seen before, it broke the symmetrical pattern. I wasn't drawing a pattern anymore. I was looking at a creature.
