Thank you, thank you so much for this. IG2 is one of my all-time favorite games, and is at the top of the list of my favorite space 4X games ever, along with Distant Worlds. i bought this .. about 8 or 9 months later upgraded pc ..

no longer could get it to work ,,

still have original disks .. can i use them to get this on steam ???

It would be great to have a remake of this game, keeping most of the stuff the same but a whole graphic overhall and better support for newer PC's.

I know you guys have revamped it a bit I think for the old time fans and newer interested ones this could be a winner. So many classics out there and I think the popular ones should be remade. Either that or allow the source code to be given away free for fans to play with.

Imperium Galactica 3 was indeed in development, nevertheless, the focus of the game changed to a more tactical RTS game and it was renamed mid-development to "Nexus: The Jupiter Incident", which is also available on Steam.

In GoG version has more audio. Why is just english audio on Steam?

Well done THQ on bringing this back, it was such a great surprise to randomly see this classic return, remastered, I instantly purchased upon seeing it was re-released. I have one question to ask the devs, on my disc version, when listening to a received message, there was audio in addition to the text, whereas the steam version is just text, was the audio ommited from this version for any reason? Or is it a glitch/to be patched later? Many thanks :)

Glad to see these gems on Steam and GoG.
However IG2 has many flaws, especially the 1-2-3-space keys not working for time speed manipulation, and the 1.14 fanmade patch is missing as well. IG2 kinda seems as if its either compiled from a code before its release, or close to a 1st version.
Also the missing multi language cutscenes... I have the original boxed hungarian version, and never ran into bugs like i did with these "new" ones.

Just adding my /agree /excitement here. :)

So good to see another classic gem made available. Like a few others I have the original disks, but trying to get the game to install and run is a nightmare nowadays. I can hardly believe that I'm here playing this on Windows 10!

many visual errors corrected and compatibility added for newer operating systems, at the time of the patch it was windows xp, yet the 1.14 patch made the game running better on windows 7 too
