Weird Merchant Bug?

Sometimes when I try to trade with people, their inventory doesn't load in, so I can't buy anything from them.

I don't know what causes it to happen, and previously it only happened to maybe 1 or 2 merchants at a time. But recently, most of my collected apothecaries (save for 1) all suffered the bug simultaneously. One of my Hunters is also suffering from it, too.

In the past, the problem has gone away on its own, but as I said, I don't know what causes it, or how long it takes to fix itself.
