Optimized temporary visual effect cleanup.
Reduced unnecessary event listener overhead.
Improved lifecycle management for temporary particle effects and floating text.
Optimized canvas rendering by caching the background rendering context.
Reduced unnecessary DOM operations during gameplay.

Stability

Improved cleanup of temporary animation effects.
Added additional safeguards to prevent resource accumulation during extended play sessions.
Improved internal performance monitoring and diagnostics.

Really bad screen flicker?

Enjoying the game thus far, however, the insane amount of screen flicker is over the top and really annoying. Ive tried different settrings, well the very few options that there are, and none seem to fix it. And yes i have the latest nvidia drivers. *Update* - It seems the flickering issue has been 95% fixed. Thanks to the dev that reached out and jumped on it straight away, legend. Games addictive and fun....

Hotfix v0.9.1– Demo Rendering Compatibility Update

A small hotfix has just been uploaded to the demo.

Changes

Adjusted the Steam Overlay rendering behavior to improve compatibility with certain hardware configurations.
This change is intended to address a report of severe screen flickering experienced by one player.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue on my own systems, but I'd rather get a potential fix out quickly than wait for additional reports.

If you were experiencing screen flickering, please update to the latest version and let me know if the issue has been resolved.

If you're still having problems, it would be incredibly helpful if you could include:

GPU model (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel)
Whether you're playing in fullscreen or windowed mode
Your monitor refresh rate (60Hz, 144Hz, etc.)
Whether the flickering affects the entire game or only certain elements

Thanks again to everyone trying the demo and taking the time to report issues. Every report helps make the game better before launch!
