Before anything, go to the game files/data/console.ini and change the fov to like 80.
Also the game with multimonitor works a bit wonky since the mouse gets out of the screen often. A bad fix that works is just putting the second monitor 99% above the other monitor during your session on the windows settings.

The review:
Neuro Hunter is a 2005 Eurojank/Slavjank immersive sim that tries to capture the magic of System Shock and Deus Ex but stumbles into its own weird identity.

The Good:
It has genuine heart. If this released as a modern indie game, it would be an underground classic.
The hacking minigames are hit our miss. You get a mix of Minesweeper (Bad) and a decent little RTS.
The story takes wild turns across mines, prisons, and biolabs. Eventually, the evil megacorporation gets defeated by the IRS. The story overall is ok.
There is crafting and such in the game, there is also pickpocketing and cyber stealing, better learn the mechanics before you think you are stuck.
The cinematics are EXCELLENT for a budget title, especially since a single developer animated all of them.
What dies, STAYS DEAD.

The Bad:
The backtracking. You will walk across the exact same tunnels constantly for quests since there is no fast travel.
The inventory stash system is tad janky. Chests expand horizontally forever, meaning your hoarded items will literally vanish off the screen.
Combat can be incredibly basic while there is a huge variety of weapons. Expect to spend a lot of time smacking mutants with a rusty pipe at the start though.
The stealth mechanic is *cough* janky and just makes you crouch to walk faster the entire game.

Verdict:
It is flawed and requires patience. Beneath the rough exterior, there is a totally unique experience for anyone who loves weird and forgotten PC games.
