Because the game plays more like CoD 4 promod instead of CoD 2.
here are the 2 best teams in MW playing in the group stage of a european tournement and yes both teams are from North America and the traveled to Europe to play
guess what they are playing ProMod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlCi6ZWtvVM
I care about competitive gaming, but what I don't care about is the so called "esports" scene which is just all kinds of nonsense.
I enjoy all kinds of competitive games like Quake Champions, Overwatch, Battlefield, TEKKEN 7, Escape From Tarkov, ARK, CS: GO. I just don't like it being shoehorned into some esports ready package that is made more for watchability than actual fun competition.
You're right, I've never been to a LAN tournament. There's no need to go to one. If you are into competitive gaming to win money it's the wrong motivation to have. It's not a way to make a stable income for anyone involved. Not players anyway. Certainly not legit ones.
The people in that video are terrible. Randomly wasting grenades throwing them up in the air and killing noone. Running around like noobs not even taking advantage of conceilment. Just aweful.
Sorry but Cod 4 non promod was garbage. It was just a casual games with stupid perks and kill streak rewards.
People made Battalion for competitive gaming in cod2/cod4. They dont give a sh*t about public casuals in this game. This game is made to be competitive.
What multiplayer FPS isn't made to be competitive? Perks and Kill streaks were what made competitive CoD 4 good and unique from CS:GO, Battlefield, Arma, RO/RS. Take those away and the game is inferior to those others.
Oh wait youre an idiot who doesnt know what a set nade is or its purpose lol
https://www.esportsearnings.com/players/1143-wombat-mark-larsen that guy has more articles written on him about gamming that you have posts on steam
Let me put it in a way you might understand
Those 2 teams were the New England Patriots of gaming for a decade. if they decided to play it they won quickly and often like 98% of thier matches
Hate to break it to you bud but the pro gaming and esports scenes are rigged and full of institutionalized cheating. It's cheaper and easier to just get 5 scrubs and give them wallhacks and aimbots and let them have at it than it is to actually pay good players to play, so that's what the western esports "scene" does. All these tournaments and earnings you see are completely made up and the players all sign NDAs about it. The only people making money from it are the publishers who make the games, that's why the biggest esports events are all organized by them. And it takes a lot of money to run these things off of pure hype. That's money Bulkhead doesn't have and so there will be no esports scene for Battalion 1944. Unless Square Enix is gonna run it and I don't see that happening after Brammer drops this on them.
LMAO a random frag video? I think I'm beginning to understand what kind of audience this game has.
I been at the tournements we stood behind these guys while they played and saw thier moniters..we know what they were doing and what they were seeing. Now are they bad
and throwing nades straight up killing no one or are the cheating ? You need to find a theory and stand behind it..lol moron cant even troll well
