Shroud playing Battalion 1944
Is he getting paid to play or not? Anyone knows?

I am one of the lead devs.
We have never paid him. We are still not paying him.
He likes the game!

Once he was enjoying the game we gave him some skins to show on stream - but that was in no way all of them.

he gets played to pay anything he plays at this point, look at what happened with apex, when they stopped paying him he for the most part stopped playing. you can assume he is being paid to play this as well.

he actually does. the moment he stop he never plays those games agian. he even tells us ( as all streamers have to when they are sponcered to play games ) he was sponcered to play before... and they even made a gun in his name... saying he signed it. which is instant money to use his likelyness and tradebrand.. he was alraedy paid by this company learn sometihng. this is old news not even recent. this wont be the first time any company used payed advertisement through streamers.

I don't think so small studio has money to pay 100k per day to play that game with small playerbase compared to other big games. It's just not profitable. He just enjoys the game

You do realize that he has to disclose this or else he faces a fine or jail time. Its a law in the states.

Man kids these days are getting dumber and dumber. Question everything and come to a conclusion by yourself. Seems like people would rather trust the word of mouth and go with popular opinion.

DOESNT mean he is at this current time but at 1 time he alreeady was for this game. he legit played it for a little bit and never touched it agian till this recent patch.

ah man sounds like you're just jealous of his success. Maybe you should go look into him disclosing the information about his skin in game cause surely he has talked about it.

You know it doesn’t take much research or basic understanding on human psychology or business practices to understand motives regarding twitch/devs/streamers they operate in a close knit circle. Not only is it speculated but highly likely that he was paid to play this game. I think it’s already been confirmed that he was paid to play xera recently and now it’s trending on steam. He plays battalion and it’s garnered even more attention now. Not rocket science but I guess for speds it must be.

No he didn't quit apex because he wasn't getting payed. Apex got boring because of the free to play nature and low skill level partially due to no custom games.

This is a game he enjoys to play. If you watched his streams for a while you can tell he likes the game. That and he verbally communicates it.
