2026 for TES 6, possibly
In case anyone was wondering. That's the target year so far, but you know, delays can easily happen.

edit:
Well, it's all speculation of course, so grain of salt, but here's a video:

And you know this how?

No, wait, don't bother answering, this will be a pointless guessing game of a thread anyway.

How is that proof of anything? A "targeted" release date is worth jack.

I think that this video is a better guess, I even included the relevant timestamp into the link:

Actually, I'm rather hoping that this is wrong. Such a short development time may mean that they'll use that damn gamebryo engine yet again. No, wait, they renamed it to "Creation Engine". Screw that one as well. We need something modern which will allow cities with more than a dozen NPCs.

Starfield was in development for over five years, and it's garbage. And the reason it's garbage isn't the engine. It would be garbage if they'd used any engine. I highly doubt Bethesda is ever making a game as good as Skyrim ... or even close ... ever again.

And as I measure things, Skyrim was halfway into that modern day abyss of mediocrity that Starfield is the epitome of. It's only going to get worse.

Bethesda is giving the manure industry a run for it's money, there's only so much bullsh!t to sell.

Feels more like 2, regardless of what they say.

Keep in mind that it will release as a buggy mess like all other Bethsda game. It will take years till the game is good and that will be due to the modding community. Unfortunetly Bethsda will ruin the modding community everytime they release an update to push their ingame cash shop.
What is really funny is that people will still preorder this game.

Starfield isn't even done yet and you expect ES6 to come out in two years? All I would expect is a trailer at E3 in 2026. 2028 release at the earliest. They should probably let it cook until 2030.

How do people manage to watch these videos? I got a headache as soon as he opened his mouth. Also it doesn't confirm a 2026 release.

I played both Skyrim and Fallout 4, unmodded, on launch for hundreds of hours without a single ctd or any other major issues.

As for mods, I love them as much as the next guy but they mainly serve to improve what's already there. If you think they actually make or break the game then you're full of it.

They already confirmed long ago that tes 6 was gonna be the same engine

If true it isn't a good sign ... Don't forget they still patching Starfield and make new dlc for it.

This. Two more Skyrim Deluxe Extra Editons (consisting of paid mods included in game and compatibility patches, the first of those will break normal mods good).

There is no reason to make a new game if you can just re-release the old game and everyone buy it.
