Standart vanilla levelling vs the "Morrowloot Ultimate" approach
I personally like the idea of being able to (more or less) go everywhere I want and always have a challenge.
In vanilla Skyrim, bandits are getting weak one hit kills when you level up, while certain enemies are (too) strong for a low level character.

But it seems that I am part of the minority.
When I read forum threads etc. ppl are always complaining about how skyrim approaches leveling enemies.
They want a fixed level for all the enemies like in CRPGs 'n stuff, but doesnt this only makes the early game tough (which isn't a bad thing tbh), and the engame a steamroll party?
It also prevents you from adventuring where ever you want (to a certain degree), which, in my opinion is the sould of skyrim. The freedom to do what you want.

What do you prefer and why?

I use another method first of all I use a unleveller (unlevel the world) secondly I use an uncapper ini preset self created and lastly I use mods that make combat a lot tougher (including dragons)

Do you mean "true unleveled skyrim"?

Some amount of level scaling is ok I guess, but I find it silly for bandits to suddenly start wearing the best armor and weilding the best weapons in the game just because the PC hit a certain level like in TES(4).

You mean the armour that cost more than they could get for several years worth of banditry???

Still find that aspect stupid, a bandit with a set of carved Nordic Armour and a Daedric Warhammer is using stuff that costs more than they are going to get by raiding merchants.... so money isn't their motivator.

Well I was thinking about the full sets of daerdic in Oblivion but yeah, I had to quit and find a mod the first time I saw it.

no this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25 works like a charm till you stumble upon level 30 Draugrs at level 5

Hmm I'll think I'll try morrowloot just have to see after the patches for it.

Skyrim does both though. In the open you're bound to meet the same kind of enemies (think about wild animals and wandering npcs) but in dungeons and with dragons this changes into a leveled encounter.

I'd suggest against using MLU's encounter zones tweak since it's a pain in the *ss unless you know exactly what you're going to face. There's a patch that reverts encounter zones back to vanilla state. All mods that alter encounter zones have pretty much the same approach. Some might do better than the other.

Well I use an encounter zone mod most of the time so I guess I'm prepared for it.
