Vampiric Thirst for Oldrim had no Controller input for feeding until you got the Vampiric Drain spell.
Mangekyo Sharingan for the "Uchiha Clan Race Mod" needed a keyboard.
Plus many other mods, that are made with the intention of using a Keyboard and Mouse due to Mod-Scripts.
I started Skyrim on the XB360, switched to PC 10 years ago and never looked back.
KBM gets used for strategy games - that’s all.
I use an Xbox for Windows wireless controller. I bought the original Steam controller when it came out and that was a waste of money - it’s so uncomfortable to hold, the buttons are weirdly spaced, and I could just never get a good handle of the track pads it has instead of sticks.
I will say though that using a MKB allows for faster and easier use of certain things - like hot keys - and it expands the functionality and ease of use of mods like SkyUI and other mods that utilize such hot key features.
A controller is not exclusive to consoles. It is just not used often on PC.
