Redoing Skyrim With Nolvus Ascension.
So I went through a ton of clean up with the old modding method of having to download multiple programs to mod Skyrim and moving over and starting over with Nolvus Ascension.

Currently I have finished the installation and now it's having me download what seems to be all the supporting mods, tools, scripts, fixes, etc. and it says I need to download 2025 mods?

Do I have to actually download 2025 of these mods to finish installing Ascension? At the time of this post I have 15% of the mods downloaded.

When that's all done will it help me with updating all the archived mods that it's been having me download?

If you want Nolvus then you need to download Nolvus I'm not sure what the confusion is. It is a specifically curated mod pack that overhauls the game, did you think or a mod launcher or a pick and choose selection? Use nexus mods if you want more choice of what you want.

If you have issues with Nolvus (and it is likely you will), you are totally on your own - only the creator of it can answer any questions or provide any help.

Why some people insist on recommending it is really beyond me (as well as many other experienced individuals - though, it would seem that the majority of people who are recommending it have minimal experience), as there have been many reported issues with it and it most certainly IS NOT recommended for use by those of us with extensive experience.

A big mod pack like Nolvus is essentially a blackbox. Either it works out of the box, or you'll need to contact its creator for support. Rather, we insist that you do that for any and all questions regarding Nolvus.
