What is the console command to make the damage you deal to NPCs the same as damage you receive from NPCs?
I want to play Legendary difficulty without the spongy enemies, how do I equalize the damage I take to the damage I cause (with melee, bows, magic, etc)?

why not just lower the difficulty back down to normal?

No console commands, might be a mod, but it does defeat the whole point of legendary difficulty.

Because then enemies are easy to kill, which makes the game less difficult.

Spongy enemies don't make for a fun difficulty setting. Many games give you higher damage on harder difficulties to offset this.

That'd be a combat mod. Why not actually install mods like SkySA and the various things that work around those ideas?

Upgrade your weapons and armor using the alchemy/ enchant loop, add a few enchants to boost weapon damage, then start one-shoting dragons on legendary difficulty.

My bow does 1,500 base damage. A sneak bonus is 4x that amount. My dagger does 1,400 base damage with sneak attacks increasing that by 10x.

Because installing mods is a hassle and I want to get achievements.

Yeah but then you kill every enemy with one shot and that's boring. I think dealing the same damage to enemies as they deal to me is fair.

That's why I don't play on legendary difficulty, but what you are asking for defeats the point of Legendary Difficulty.... just play on a difficulty you find fun.

If the hardest difficulty is badly designed then its point doesn’t matter. That’s why there’s countless mods to fix Skyrim’s difficulty. I don’t mess with mods so I just want to fix it via console commands.

The console is a dev tool, and should not be used for longterm game sessions.

Kick that pride to the side, use a simple mod.

player.modav (meleepowermod/marksmanpowermod/destructionpowermod/etc) (insert numeric value here)

Only problem with this is, you have to do each one individually.

Installing mods isn't hard and there are mods that specifically enable the ability to get achievements again when using other mods. So that is a poor excuse.

And you are deliberately missing the point.

If you are just going to remove the differences between what damage you do, and what damage the enemies do, then just play on a lower difficulty, because that's the only difference between the difficulty levels. You are asking for a mod that does exactly the same thing as just changing the difficulty....:steamfacepalm:
