Nemesis engine

for 4 days i have been trying to make the mod work, i have checked the internet for tutorials and the stupid mod keep refusing to work

it keep saying it needs to be launched inside the folder data of skyrim, wich i did by manually putting the mod files inside, despite that, whenever i try to launch it, it closes, when i try to update the engine, it goes to 1-2% then close again and at that point, i don't really know what to do

i also installed it trough vortex but when i try to launch it trough vortex, it keeps repeating the message that i am launching in the wrong folder

You downloaded it through Vortex AND manually installed it?

Why would you do that?

It’s very straight forward, friend.

Uninstall it in Vortex and remove whatever you added in manually.

Step One: Reinstall it in Vortex

Step Two: Go to Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Nemesis_engine

Step Three: launch Nemesis Behavior Engine.exe inside the Data/Nemesis_engine folder

Step Four: Check the boxes of any patches you need for mods you’re using. Don't select any unless you’re using those mods - these aren’t “options”, you need the mods associated with them.

Step Five: Hit “Update Engine” and let it run

Step Six: When Update Engine is finished hit “Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine” and let it run

Step Seven: Close the window when Step Six is finished

Nemesis creates separate logs in its own folder for updating engine and its work. Look what the problem is.

no no, i tried both options, i did not have both trying to work at the same time but i am going to try your solution and see how it goes

It worked right away for me. Make sure you have the right version installed and that it's not set for a different game or something.

thank you very much for the solution fear2288, it fixed my problem and now my mods are working
