Specifically, the last listed bug:
"Upon completion of the quest when you are asked to return to Ulfric, it may not let you continue, and the normal dialogue will appear. In addition, the fast-travel markers will be disabled and the battle music may still be running.
- If not in or near Whiterun, fast-travel to Pelagia Farm and walk into the city from there.
- If the battle music is still running, go to Dragonsreach and wait until it completes. The completion of the battle music also completes the Battle for Whiterun quest properly and solves most issues with the Civil War questline.
- If Whiterun's markers are still disabled, walk back out of the city gates, following the path towards the stables until the markers reappear.
- Travelling to the Stormcloak camp outside of Whiterun may also resolve the issue.
- Ralof may be running on the spot in the camp, downing him and reloading the save fixes this issue."
Good luck!
The music won't stop. 30 mins standing here in dragonreach doing nothing. The music continues and Ralof follows me with the weapon in his hand. Won't show any dialogue. Music goes in loops. Also he won't stay in the camp.
*Manage to get ralof down but the music just keep looping and whiterun isn't yet on the map.
*Completely reinstalled. didn't work too
I already tried all you wrote before I wrote this message. So I guess my whole save just died since no one know another way...
Really sorry I had high expectations from such a positively rated game and didn't expect any bugs from it. =_=
Really wanna keep playing it but too tilted now to restart 4 hours from where I stopped...
Didn't expect any bugs from such high rated games. This just sucks.
Guess you didn't read any reviews for this game, even the best ones I've seen state bethesda games are always full of bugs. As everybody has been saying for decades.
I hear your frustration.
The unofficial patch someone said may help. Please do not let the bugs kill the game for you because it really is a fantastic experience.
Like with all games I make my own type of roles up within them and Skyrim just has so much opportunity to play as you wish to play whether you take on the many quests or go independent adventuring making your own quests up.
Whether you start from beginning or your last hard save you still learned something that may help your decisions on your next playing.
Skyrim can be weird :)
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Enjoy!
please write a guide on this.
Was it just clicking a lot on the big map to fast travel or more to it than that?
