Its 100% going to be more starfield than skyrim though. Though considering I actually like starfield, not the worst thing in the world...but starfield sure gets a lot of hate

Some people liked Fallout 76, there's no accounting for taste. For me, I paid $100 to play the game early, and after 80 hours of trying to like it, I had it removed from my account and took the loss. It was too awful to me to even keep it in my collection. It was a tedious, burdensome "chat with women" simulator.

It depends.. Id say 2030~ UNLESS the Fallout TV show does well. If that does, they might bring Fallout 5 forwards and delay TeS to cash in on the TV show...

I'm still waiting for it, I'd love to have a moddable Skyrim on phone. I know there's techy ways to run vanilla Skyrim on the phone.

With post 2020 modding capabilities groundwork and tools available, i wouldn't mind if they re-released SkyrimSE another time but this time on a fully updated Engine without the limitations of the old one. It would keep us busy for 2-4 years extra just to reach the next Dead End of Engine Limits when it comes to mod development.
Bethesda can't keep up with Modding so they wouldn't even if it would sell. And it would.
But hey, maybe Skyblivion releases someday before TES6...

They only started making the game proper last year, so not before 2027.... and if have a negative view on the matter, which I and many others do, you would be expecting it after 2029...

So long as Elder Scrolls Online exists, they have little reason to release TES:VI, I suppose, because that might risk their fanbase not renewing a subscription every month.

Seeing as they only started late last year, and with the best will in the world it will be late 2028 at the earliest assuming its a five year development.

One can only imagine how broken and buggy the game will be if they release it with less dev time than five years.

And to think if they had started development on ES6 after Fallout 4 and not wasted years on Fallout 76 and Starfield it could have been out in 2021 and Fallout 5 could be out in 2026.
