whats the cap on one handed bonus?
so, i have maxxed out enchanting. used an enchanters elixer. put fortify one handed on two different pieces. +45% damage per piece. necklace of major weilding +25%, ring of major wielding +20%
so if there is a cap, I have to be waaaay over it at +135% damage

As far as I know, there isn't one. The only stat with caps is your defense rating (maximum of 80% reduction in damage) and elemental and magical resistances (both max at an 85% reduction in damage). Though elemental resistances and magic resist both apply at the same time for a maximum of 97.75% reduction in damage.

There seems to be mods that bypass the armor rating cap but it seems I haven't found a good one yet as they all just crash.

It's not really worth it as you can hit max damage reduction with every armor set by using the alchemy/enchant loop to make enhance smithing potions. At max damage reduction, I've found that no enemy can kill me. They just can't do enough damage.
The only time I would consider using it would be if I also used a mod that removed enemy level cap.
Otherwise, you may as well just use a mod that enables god mode.

There is no cap. If you wanted to, you can use the restoration/enchantment/alchemy bug to make the % up to like, 4 billion, if you wanted. For pretty much anything. Or whatever the byte limit is before it rolls over into the negatives.

What do you need so much damage for, do you like the look of low tier weapons and don't want to level up smithing?
