Abandon Nemesis?
The Nexus page for Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine has a posts tab flooded with bug reports and locked. A bug tab flooded. A forum tab flooded. The lock message said go to Discord. Discord got a response saying to post my bug report in a different section, which got ignored and lost in the flood of bug reports there.

The author is supposedly rewriting it from scratch so not bothering fixing the current version.

Now, I am not a self-entitled mod user who thinks someone that worked hard to make a free mod should stop everything and appease every complainer. But this mod pitched itself hard and trashed FNIS saying it was old and obsolete and aggressively persuading people to move to the new modern Nemesis instead.

For me, going back to FNIS should only cost some head tracking fixes in True Directional Movement and I'm trying to decide if I should give up on Nemesis.

Are there any opinions here on Nemesis and whether people should hang in there with it or give up on it?

Maybe not give up but the author themselves recommends waiting on the rewrite. FNIS, while no longer actively maintained, is quite stable.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Fnis outdated and most of the latest animation mods do not support it.

I've been using Nemesis and it works for me. It can be a little finicky during the installation process, sometimes, but if you're having any bugs or issues getting something to work you're better off looking into the specific mod that's causing them.

Abandon Nemesis for what? FNIS? LMAO

Well, I used Nemesis and only had problems with it. No problems with FNIS. I guess everyone's mileage will vary.

I posted this on reddit and got a link to Pandora: https://github.com/Monitor144hz/Pandora-Behaviour-Engine-Plus/blob/main/README.md, which claims to be a replacement for either FNIS or Nemesis. I'm a little concerned about its obscurity, but might try it.

I still using FNIS and so far haven't encounter any animation I cannot use.

Well, if OP need to use animation for creatures which NEMESIS doesn't support. It is perfectly reasonable to go for FNIS.

Does it support creatures animation?

Yeah don't use FNIS. It needs patches for every single mod and Fores doesn't maintain it anymore. Creature animations are supported by Nemesis. Just not certain creature animations if you get my drift.

Last time I checked FNIS is still getting updated, just not as fast as it used to be, can't comment on what mods support it though.

I'd like to see a list of some of those mods that need patches for FNIS, none of mine do and it works perfectly with all animations.

What I hear is that it supports everything except it's not working with Sexy Move.

Probably they're all sex mods heh. I don't use sex mods (unless you count FNIS Sexy Move), so maybe DAR/OAR is all I really need.

The statement that "It needs patches for every single mod" is a total lie. I don't know why this person would try to post such misinformation but it is just that, total bunk. I do use Flower Girls btw, FNIS works excellently with all of the makin' whoopie scenes too.

DAR/OAR is a good framework, from all reports. I can't say anything much about it since I don't use it but I've heard good things, and very few reports of problems.

Last I checked, DAR had not yet been updated. OAR seems to be working fine.
