Can't use Keyboard and Mouse after update

Dude, after this update some mods at Vortex isnt work even after updating skse, I had to disabled every mods connected to skse, but then when the game run, I CANT EVEN USE MY KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!!!!

plug in a controller then. then go into option and disable controller. maybe.

keyboard on the steam deck crashes the game.

Go to creations, you will need to log into your Bethesda account again. Then under options update all creations. This will re-download the anniversary stuff. Then came out of it the game file will re-load. I had the same problem but this fixed it for me.

Man I tried this on Steam Deck and now I can't use a controller OR my keyboard + mouse. Could really use help fixing it.

Update works fine on the deck. PC works fine with K+M or pad. SKSE and dependent mods are indeed broken at the moment. They are volunteers, and on it. It will prob be today or tomorrow. Mods depending on SKSE will take longer, obviously.
(And to Corvidian, WTF would you use a controller with a deck anyway?)
And would all of you whiny babbies please learn to type and use coherent sentences?

I'm just trying to see what works man, K+M isn't working at all for me. Sometimes the Steam Deck itself can control the game, other times it can't. I'm not using any mods, I'm playing vanilla SKSE and after the most recent update the controls are just suddenly broken. I updated my deck, I reinstalled Skyrim, I restarted, I made sure the ini files are populated-- I don't know what's wrong. I'm just trying to find help.

SKSE...While I think it's updated now, most of the mods dependent on it have not been yet. This is a volunteer army, working for love, not money. Be patient, play vanilla for awhile (it's better than ever!)

PS, SKSE is the exact poster-child for "not vanilla". It messes "under the hood", and is 100% volunteer maintained. They deserve respect, support,...and patience.

Keyboard + Mouse no longer working for me on Steam Deck for Skyrim SE after update. Strangely it registers up and down arrows and enter, so i can start the game, or enter Creations, but i can't do anything else (e.g. press "O" to open the options in Creations, or do anything within the game itself).

Steam Deck's native gamepad controlls not being picked up either (likely because i have "Controller" options switched off?"). Unfortunately i cannot switch it on because keyboard and mouse not being detected.

Any suggestions welcomed, thanks.

unfortunately, i had the same problem, only to verify the file integrity can recover. it is a pity can not use keybord controller in steamdeck. the default controller config is less on steamdeck, it can not use the extra button on the back and the touch tablet. i see much useful keyboard layout in community but this can not apply even switch off the controller option in the game menu.

Unfortunately, for me, I've pretty much exhausted everything to do in the vanilla game now, and I can't seem to install mods, so I might just be done with Skyrim for now. There's no way I'm going to play it with a controller after spending 400 hours with keyboard and mouse. I submitted a support ticket with Steam, and they were sympathetic to my concerns, but I just did a fresh install, and none of the issues with the recent update have been addressed from what I can tell. Bethesda are total idiots if they plan to stand by this update instead of fixing their BS.

i like steam but i like skyrim better steam is a block i think they are interfering the game process everytime i try to go threw steam my access to skyrim is lesser able now my controller dose not respond any longer however when i try to play it threw steam it dose not work and my account dose not update it say not connected the only way that i can play is offline mode or either without steam so im play n it witout steam online mode sucks totally i really wished i would b experiencing a better experience threw this app steam is ultra buggy
