(GUIDE) How to get and old version ⭐

In case you did not know, Steam lets you download old versions of any game. This is how you can get previous Skyrim Special Edition version from 20 September 2022:

1. Open steam://nav/console in your web browser an accept to launch Steam application when prompted.

2. Enter the following command:

download_depot 489830 489831 3660787314279169352

and whait until the download is complete.
Download location will be shown in log.

3. repeat with

download_depot 489830 489832 2756691988703496654

4. repeat with

download_depot 489830 489833 5291801952219815735

5*. these file were not changed so you can take them from the game folder if you have the last version installed

Game_folder\Data\Skyrim - Voices_<language>.bsa;
Game_folder\Skyrim_Default.ini

If not, enter only one command for desired langage. Not needed for the english version:

French:

download_depot 489830 489834 8562891139598763344

Italian:

download_depot 489830 489835 9152699258833967999

German:

download_depot 489830 489836 2360664012913025776

Spanish:

download_depot 489830 489837 8402094395440824039

Russian:

6. Open the download location (shown after completion of each download) in file explorer, there will be 3 or 4 folders there. Place the contents of each folder into one folder. If you downloaded the localized files in step 5, there wiil be two Skyrim_Default.ini files in different folders, choose the one from the folder with the localized voices.

my current problem is when i launch with all my old mods the game immediately crashes. any idea on a fix?

i was wondering if the Depot thing still worked, wanted to play an old version of No Man's Sky someday.

I think putting steam in "devMode" or w/e its called lets you do manual updates instead of auto updates as well, handy if you play a lot of modded games.

dude me the same. Go MO2 and start SKSE64, the game comes up for only a second and crashes.

Try refreshing the load order, reinstalling each mod, could be a conflict in one mod that stops you running the whole thing.

I did what you said. I just get an application load error. And can't launch the game.

"Application load error 3:0000065432"
