Viljia is kinda the grand mother of skyrim followers as she was one of the first mega voiced followers and had the longest update time. She has above all the most features when it comes to skyrim extra followers. Most of all the has links in her programing to interact with some basic followers. So exmaple she will have short conversations with Lydia or any follower using that Voice file and thus giving more content to the more basic followers.

Sofia is the second/third best voiced follower as she is a lot more basic in all the right ways. I mean she doesn't have a quest line or any mega fancy features but she is just as reactive as Viljia. More Sofia can get drunk and thus becomes even more fun when you interact with her in drunken mode.

Miria is i think one of the most technical followers there is with the base game. By that she has her own cute scenes for her quests and unlike say Viljia and Sofia honestly has a little story arc in her quest line. The problem is Miria was ultimately unfinished. The VA stopped taking calls and the OG mod author at some point quit so she has dialog that is unfinished and un voice.

Not the most immersive follower to skyrim but slightly more immersive when using modded content. Plus it's fun to image your cucking MXR because his girlfriend is the voice actor.

Last but not least the follower that requires either the PC forged by the devil himself or some extre income to get working the last link is for Herika.

Herika is follower that uses chat-GPT and a Text to Voice A.I. to produce her voice. She is the most advance Follower bar nothing before her. But she is the most complicated to get working and unless you got a real tricked out PC requires a couple subs to other third party services but the discord is helpful in helping getting her working proper.

Outside of Herika i have used all them for at least one play through and nearly all of them have some kinda audiology about major in game quest lines.

I knew about Inigo but I never personally used him or I would have added the link. Honestly just going on highest endorsement would pop out 90% of the best followers.

Besides Herika I can't think of many modern followers that hold a candle to alot of the older super followers. Though it was sad to click endorsement and see how long it's been since most of the ultra followers been updated.

Well I have Lucien but not met him in game yet on my new play through. Auri never showed up on my radar so thanks for the link. Played Starfield, uninstalled and came back to love Skyrim even more.

Proteus (last i looked no longer updated and broke often) ... NFF(Nether's follower framework) is best follower mod atm ... only 10 followers but with Luxury bathhouse mod .... you can swap em out and camp em at the bathhouse as you cycle through different ones. NFF is great for setting healer/damage boosts, no follower damage and can hide items on followers... to name a few.
