Only if you want to break the game, get over it and move on.

It is these kind of messings with the console that cause the game to lock up.

If you killed Alduin go ahead. If not....yeah you will break your game.

Best you can do is Install the Parthenaux Dialemma mod and Ignore them. (my spelling is atrocius.)

Yeah, they suck. Especially Delphine.

And to think I even made a couple of nobodies into Blades for them...

You should consider using this mod: The Paarthurnax dillema[www.nexusmods.com]. It doesn't allow you to kill the Blades, but it will allow you to put them into their place regarding Paarthurnax. Of course you can also do as they asked/demanded, it's all up to you.

(edit): Good call @dave, stupid me... the SE version of the mod can be found here[www.nexusmods.com]. A dumb mistake on my end, sorry for the possible confusion.

But at least you'll be able to finish that dumb quest (and without failing it).

i whoud tell you how to be able too kill any whan in the game, but last time i did tell someone the same thing other players had a go at me so yeah,

The difference is he knows what he wants and what the consequences can be if you kill them too early. In your case you forgot to mention that it can break your game. Never ever underestimate the noobs who thinks o cool lets do that and then come running to the forum in disbelieve they have broken their game.

You don't even need that mod to ignore them. The Paarthurnax quest ends after you beat the game, regardless of how you chose.

Not correct. In vanilla, the only way to get a completed status in your journal is to agree to the demand that you kill Parthenaux (and actually kill him, obviously). You can ignore them & not kill him, but the quest will remain in your journal & they won't help you further. The Paarthurnax Dillema mod lets you tell them you're not going to do it, which will then complete the quest & set them to the next mode, where they'll do their regular thing, no longer insisting that you kill the dragon.

Note that the link provided above by ShalLuser points to the Oldrim version of the mod. You'll want to get it from the SSE section of the Nexus, so search there for it.

^ Which should've been a regular option since launch. Oh well.

Thank ♥♥♥♥ for the modding community. Every single one of you deserves lots of cool things in your life.

"& they won't help you further."

Did I miss something? When did they help me?

1. Delephine: Took the horn and made me travel out of my way and listen to some stupid presentation on Time shares and Amway; Made me kill a dragon for her; infiltrate a party to find out.....her intell was wrong ........yeah that's not helping.

2. Esbern: Made me listen to a sob story of how he told everybody all the bad stuff was going to happen, led me to an old Blades base and.......yeah, not helping me.

3. Both: Came to my peace meeting and .......yeah not helping.

Where did I go wrong? Where was the part they helped? Helped ME?

Don't tell me the picture of the 3 people shouting at Alduin. First of all, the groove puzzle isn't some Mysterious Puzzle. I found it my very first playthrough but couldn't do anything with it.

[Old Man Rant} There was nothing they are needed for that isn't SCRIPTED IN. The bane of present day gaming. No need for critical and deductive thinking. In my day we had to puzzle things out! We had to type in 50 different ways of saying USE THE KEY to get the right one; on TRS Model 3 with a tape drive attachment (or a 5 1/4 Floppy).]
