Undiscovered map markers?
Is there a mod where it shows all undiscovered map markers without them being discovered AND is fast travel accessible? None of the commands do exactly this. There's only commands without fast travel.

No mod needed for that. In the console, use:

tmm 1,0,0

This will show all map markers (except hidden) and disables fast travel until a location is discovered.

That's what I'm asking. I want this, but the ability to fast travel as well.

I'm not sure it's even possible, but there doesn't seem to be any mod that changes the FT mechanic that way. If you want to FT anywhere and keep the ability to tell which places you've visited, the closest might be to rely on the "cleared" flag.

That's not possible! The first number makes all map markers visible, but undiscovered. The second number enables Fast Travel (if set to 1), but at the same time makes those discovered. The last number is used to disclose hidden map markers (best leave this set to 0 as it is used by quests). If there would be a mod for what you ask, then it would probably be a DLL-plugin (SKSE), but I haven't seen any.

That command doesn't do what I'm asking. I want to be able to fast travel to undiscovered places and upon arrival, I want the "discovered" message to appear. That doesn't show with tmm 1.

Oh, dang. Thanks for the info at least.

in addition to this, so that it can be clarified better; the second parameter in the command stands for "discovered". You can only fast travel to a location you have discovered. Hence meeting your request is not possible as Altbert is saying.

The third parameter is just for displaying hidden ones or not

that is basically same as
tmm 1,1,0
= show all markers (except hidden ones - third arg) and make it discovered.

Isn't tmm 1 is basically tmm 1,1,1?

Not as far as I know. Hidden map markers are quest related and used to force the player not to fast travel to a quest location, such as the dragon appearing near the Western Watchtower, and after killing the dragon to return to the Jarl of Whiterun. During that quest the Western Watchtower and Whiterun/Dragonsreach have no enabled map markers. Even if you would use tmm 1,1,1 before the quest, the map markers would still be disabled. I have not used the command during the quest, but I think it would mess up the quest.

So you want known-about but not visited to STAY not visited, but be able to fast travel to them and then <poof!> have them discovered as you arrive? Shouldn't be that difficult. Lazy as hell, though.

You could probably make it with just a handful of papyrus commands into your own mod... it's literally one of the first tutorials; overland map markers and quest stage pointers.

If you're non-technical and you want it fast, putting a $500 bounty on it might get someone to complete it by next week, just saying. :devilskiss:

Just curious, but WHY are you asking? That it doesn't already exist could mean people that have put a lot more effort into much sillier mods, thought it was a pointless endeavor. So why do you think it's useful?

My best suggestion if you want to fast travel knowing where you're going in the first place, cept ">>>> that way!", to a location you've never been to?

'tcl ; tgm ; player.setav speedmult 50000'

Although you might feel like you want to puke.
(this could be called "stress testing" your Skyrim install, especially HDD installs, huge mod lists, and low-power GPUs.)

But this way you don't have to know CELL names/ids for 'coc' or understand (memorize!) the coordinate values for 'cow' travel teleporting... and not cash bounty for having the mod made for you.
