thank you but the essentials was an ini tweak and killable children both of them have been existing the same the entire gameplay :) nothing has changed from when i started.. and a new game will not crash but this one will which means there is some corruption i cannot figure out
thank you tho
Disable a mod and continue the saves is a sure fireway to corrupt your save.
Without knowing the entire list of mod the save is using, it is hard to troubleshoot for you.
As far as I know, there is many mod that allowed you to kill essential NPC, but which one are you talking about?
thats just it, other than killable children and using ini tweak to make everyone nonessential, i never used any mods.. there are no npc spawns outside that place that are essential, no uniques
if i used a new game file and it crashed then that would be the issue, but it only does it on this current file
thank you for the thoughts :) i think i may just give up on this save

In researching the topic, it appears there may be an issue when the ownership is changed during the Civil War questline that removes the Necromancer's that previously occupied the Fort.
If you have not progressed in the Civil War questline and the Fort is still occupied by necromancer's, perform the following test (create a test save you do not intend to keep):
As you approach the Fort, and reach the point just before the crash, use the console command "Killall." This should kill all non-essential NPC's within the area of the Fort. Then approach and see if it still crashes.

Please note, this CTD may be corrected using the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch found at AFKmods.
best answer yet i think you might have it ..
so my fort amol has changed to stormcloak without me doing any quests, just after 200 days in the game the cloaks decided to take it over instead of the mages.. i bet fort snowhawk did the same thing.. its okay though i have given up :) the character ran its course and so im making new guys, at some point the old save file had too many people die and too many quests go bugged or trashed, its better for me to start over neurotically
thank you fren! i give out handjobs and cookies but im all out of flour ;)
