1P or 3P
I personally love playing in 1P for both combat and exploration, much more immersive and not as common. Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts

W/O FOV adjustments, I prefer 3rd person view. It gives me less nausea and dizziness

3rd person view outside of dungeon and first person view inside dungeon.

3rd person view seems soo wonky at dungeon for me..

90% I'm 1P POV

Third person.

What’s the point in creating a character and having all those weapons and armors if you can’t see them?

Obviously though, in vanilla Third Person is not even kind of viable. You need to get mods like Smooth Cam, TrueHUD/True Directional Movement, Quick Loot, and Better Third Person Selection.

Even with those it’s still not perfect, but it works very well and you’ll have little trouble playing in third person 100% of the time.

Both. I'm constantly changing back and forth for one reason or another.

1P- shooting projectiles (archery / magic) , searching a tight spot, wandering through town and most interiors.

Basically 3P unless i need to 1P. Usually works out to be about 50/50.

Third person, that way I can see what's attacking me from behind, usually a skeever that's appeared out of nowhere....

I'm using various mods for a souls like melee combat. There are many tight corners and cave passage ways that make third person a detriment.

I cant play games in third person view, just cant. Only time I'm using third person view in Skyrim is when I'm walking, inside a taverna. Never in battle or in dungeons.

First person only, unless on horseback.

Mostly first person, but I sometimes like to look at the character.

Depends entirely on combat style I am using. Melee combat is exclusively third person, Archery is exclusively first person, and magic is a mix of both.

Basic exploration and stuff I am usually in third person. I also have some sick armor mods, I wouldn't be seeing them in first person.

Almost always 3rd person. What's the point in having all these armor mods, physics mods, or player animations if you never see any of it?

I have a mod to switch to 1st person on aiming bows or magic, and then switch me back to 3rd person when i've let go of the arrow, or fired a spell.

1st person i really only use in rare cases when i can't navigate a tiny cave path or can't tag something to pick it up.

First person is largely walking simulator mode. However, I can see why people would do it in Skyrim. When you mod it out, it has some amazing vistas.

For gameplay where you actually do stuff, third person.

Always 1P, unless forced by the game to 3P. I know what weapons I'm carrying and what armor I wear. If I would have a bow or sword on my back in real life I wouldn't see it either. I just hate 3P games. Agreed, 1P could be far better. In real life I can see my arms, legs and chest, but IMHO 1P is more realistic with your view in front and not be able to see what's behind you.
