3rd person view seems soo wonky at dungeon for me..
What’s the point in creating a character and having all those weapons and armors if you can’t see them?
Obviously though, in vanilla Third Person is not even kind of viable. You need to get mods like Smooth Cam, TrueHUD/True Directional Movement, Quick Loot, and Better Third Person Selection.
Even with those it’s still not perfect, but it works very well and you’ll have little trouble playing in third person 100% of the time.
1P- shooting projectiles (archery / magic) , searching a tight spot, wandering through town and most interiors.
Basically 3P unless i need to 1P. Usually works out to be about 50/50.
Basic exploration and stuff I am usually in third person. I also have some sick armor mods, I wouldn't be seeing them in first person.
I have a mod to switch to 1st person on aiming bows or magic, and then switch me back to 3rd person when i've let go of the arrow, or fired a spell.
1st person i really only use in rare cases when i can't navigate a tiny cave path or can't tag something to pick it up.
For gameplay where you actually do stuff, third person.
There's a mod for that...I like it:
