Question about Vortex profiles and FNIS
If I create a new profile and load different mods with it, will I affect FNIS in my original profile?

I followed most of Vlad's guide, added some gameplay tweaks and armors, and have an extremely stable mostly-vanilla playthrough going. I wanted to make an insane mage just-for-fun ridiculously-modded profile and really go off the rails... but will changes to FNIS in this profile affect my original Vortex profile (that I aim to finish the game in)? I just don't know if it uses some sort of central tool that's NOT profile-specific.

No. If it is a separate profile, and that is active, only the mods you installed in THAT profile will be loaded. So if you DON'T install FNIS in the active profile, it won't be launched in the game. However, if you load a save game, you would be informed that mods would be missing. I think you'd have to have a separate save folder.

Best part is that your FNIS data will also be fully separated from each other. Profiles are quite an impressive feature imo. You can even separate your saves this way.

It's great. I have 2 profiles for SSE, One for Fallout 4 and another one for Enderal.
