It's a false-positive. What antivirus are you using?
maobe Nov 8, 2016 @ 2:37am
False positive. Sometimes it happens that the heuristics of an AV-Software "thinks" that a legit software is a malware or virus cause of the behaviour of it. put it on the exception/ignore list of your AV-Suit.

I agree false positive in my opinion from long distance.
AV response here was nil.

Panda, If it's false positive I'll reinstall. Phew!

I'd switch antivirus software if I were you, that's not the first time I've read of Panda getting confused. Obviously it's not a very good antivirus program.

but Pandas are sooo cute, they need to be preserved.
but yes, i say get avast instead.

I'll second that notion. Avast works well and has a few features that other anti-virus programs don't have, like a tracking blocker.

I'll have a look-see at Avast

Are you still using an Antivirus? lol

My Avast gave me a false positive for Rise of the Tomb Raider's exe. It can happen with any AV solftware. Just go to the Virus Chest and restore it and add the file to your exceptions list and you should be fine.

You'd be a complete fool not to. They may not be entirely effective but they definitely help.

they are a failed species, they cannot breed on their own and according to laws of nature the fittest organism wins, pandas are not fit to survive.

it's time we let them go

You're 100% sure, that the legit sites you visited, have not been compromised from security exploits or loopholes? In this day and age, an AV like a condom, better have it than not at all.

Most crap is from ads, an adblock saves more people (edit: computers) than antiviruses. Besides I didn't say I don't have one, I do. But I haven't needed it for many years.
