Liberation of Skyrim - Report to Ulfric Glitch Fixed
I just got this glitch, after defeating the Whiterun forces, you get the quest to talk to Ulfric, but when you try to report you won the battle, there's no prompt to show the answer or whatever, you keep talking to him about old stuff... After searching for the rest of my afternoon and night, I found the solution, there's a console command that makes something happend and something something, and then you can talk to him and do the mission:

SetKeywordDataForLocation 16772 CWOwner 2

Just type this command on console and talk to him, for sure I don't know what this console command does, but I can play the game again. Even after "fixing" this issue, I will let this thread here to show people who may find this issue, and if, after years, I find this issue again, I can find this solution one more time =)

Considering your Steam name you'll have to forgive me not taking your post for face value and not trusting any of this.

Quite frankly I think people should simply use the unofficial special edition patch[www.nexusmods.com] (which is even available from the vanilla mod menu!). This should fix these issues, I know it did for me.

In my research, I didn't find people talking about this. I saw people saying a lot of things like talking to some NPCs before talking to Ulfric or moving to Whiterun instead of fast travel. I had another issue with Vilkas who didn't stop talking to me, people told it's because of bounty since he was made using a guard, and to end the torment was just paying the bounty, which I did and fix the issue.

My nickname is a joke about people who can't handle players with skill and then proceed to call skilled players cheaters, it's about CS:GO. Judging someone by the nickname is a horrible thing to do, saying or implying I'm untrustful because of the nickname is really horrible.

As I told in the comment, I did tell I don't know what the command does, but it fixed the issue to me without having to download external assistance, which could compromise the security of my account or any other thing.

And, as I also told in the original post, the idea is to save this information on Steam Community so I can find this in some years when I play the game again, this is something that happens to me a lot, a lot... In some games, I found a glitch or a problem, I take time to find the solution, and years after when I play the game again I face the same issue, and the way I find the solution is to find some of my old posts showing how to fix.

The reason that I'm "saving" this here is to, in 2 or 3 years when I return to play Skyrim SE again, and I face this same issues, when I search on google for solutions, this specific thread will appear, showing me the console command that I used to fix my issue.

But thanks for the unofficial special edition patch, I don't know how many fixes there are in it, but it can fix a lot of things that didn't happen yet.

I don't know why I offended you by posting this, but wasn't my intention, my intention with this thread is to make my life easier next time I play the game and face this glitch again, because I know will happen. I'm sorry for offending your feelings for creating this post, and I ask you to not delete it, instead lock it if you want people to not post stuff here.

Hardly horrible: you reap what you sow. The point is that (too) many people who managed to avoid the ban hammer tend to flaunt their miserable exploitations and you see this all over the place.

BUT.. I didn't meant to offend. And I say this because I can place myself in your position, take a look at my name and wonder what the capital L represents? Of course I kinda self-reflect here by targeting the whole jist back at myself.

Problem is: most people who think "cheaters" are cool enough to put it into their names usually are no better. And yah, you'll have to forgive me not taking your word on this.

Thank you! Now that I can definitely appreciate, even though it doesn't reflect on myself (honestly I didn't follow the links just yet) but I honestly appreciate you taking the effort to share your solution because this can help out other players.

And IMO that's what the community is all about.

Thanks for this MOD, I got another glitch in the Stormcloack missions after rescue some soldiers and reporting back to someone, I think it worked because the guy that I need to talk teleported to the right place and I could talk to him.

Edit:
I think this MOD didn't work properly, because Liberatiun of Skyrim is still bugged. Now is the Liberate Falkreath Hold. I'm trying to talk to Ulfric about it and he doesn't prompt the answer, I will search for another console command, I fell all Liberation of Skyrim will be glitched. Maybe removing completely this mission will peace my mind.

Dont know what the above talks about but I also have tried this fix. I play without any mod and it works immediately. Very helpful. Thanks a lot for for the originals post extensive research so it can save me an entire night trying to figure this out.
