Is it possible to solve the Thirsk Mead Hall conflict peacefully?
As far as I can tell searching online I can:

1. Kill nords
2. Kill cute goblins
3. Walk away

Is there a

4. Try to understand each others culture and settle down to exchange stories and create a new settlement based on the rich traditions of both your people! And lets smoke some good stuff and drink some bear and... this is taking a bad turn but you get the drift.

If not no big deal. Ill just walk away.

If you try to drink a bear, you have a serious drinking problem.

I can imagine some folks "trying" to drink a beer.

Im being silly but I did want an option of getting the Rieklings to relocate peacefully. Find them a nice cave or something.

I just left them to sort it out themselves :)

They are very akin to snow goblins, not very peacefull. Did you forget the part where you have to beat/kill there leader?

No such part in my playthrough. I’m friends with their leader. Got him his cattle back and some herbs to smoke. He and his buds are squatting in someone else’s home but that’s not a death sentence... for me.

In general:

-Some attacked me in the wild (but then again so did Dunmer raiders and human bandits)
-I found a couple of caves with Riekling settlements where they attacked me but I promptly left. Even humans attack when you get into their house and won’t leave.
-They seem like hoarders and petty thieves from all the trash they gather. Haven’t seen any humanoid sacrifices, human flesh, slaves or pens with people.

Not in love with them or something but as far as I have seen they are not like the Falmer that kidnap people and feed them to bugs or the Vamps that eat people themselves.

Eh well..

Who says that snow goblins can't be peaceful--classically, orcs aren't, yet here we are.
Though they don't seem to be willing to leave their new home, they are capable of requesting the player's help in defending it, proving that civil interaction between them and others is possible.

orcs and goblins are not the same race in this game.
After you help them beat the humans the leader tells you are strong and want you to kill him.

TES Orcs are not classical orcs, so your analogy falls done here.

Those pseudogoblins, because they are unrelated to proper goblins of the rest f Tamriel, are unwilling and incapable of living peacefully. Maybe they are insecure about their size, I don't know, but they attack anyone who isn't a member of their race.
