If there try to resolve them.
You also need to make an SSEMerged Patch. I'm guessing computer resources are not being max?
I'm not 100% sure, but doing it now, you would have to reinstall all your mods again.
That scene is script heavy and Skyrim just likes closing if scripts tax your computer. The SSEMerged I believe removes redundant files so scripts run smoother. If this is the only place that you get ctd, it most likely something simple but hard to pinpoint.
A load order would be very useful, but I not sure how to do it and I'm at work and on a phone.
It should be named SSEMerged for Skyrim SE
4:45 mark starts the merged patch. First part is about mod organizer. Vortex will automatically detect this plug-in and place it at the bottom of your load order.
xEdit is just scanning your mods to eliminate redundant files for the merged patch. When you are ready to start another playthough xEdit is used to clean your Master Files so you have a sound platform to mod with. See this video

The second link the one above is used after removing all mods and files and converting the game back to vanilla.
The video is just useful as the author explains why it is used to fix a poorly optimized game.
If you have any body mods such as UNP or CBBE reinstall those too just in case. I've had them be the problem once or twice.

In Vortex top right (Actions) is the Flags check box marked? If not check it and see if there are any triangles with bolts through them.
If you created the merged patch and are getting that error just delete it (steam/steamapps/commom/skyrim special edition/data) scroll down to the Ss and find (SEEMerged.esp) highlight it and hit delete. This will fully remove it from your game.
