What is the best shrine to activate?

Theres alot of shrines in Skyrim, but which one do you prefer?

Shrines of the divines have temporary buffs so whatever you choose you have to renew after a while or just take another one.

Stones are another matter they are permanent, but shrines have a temporary buff

Also: there really is no "best" since the value of many perks heavily depend on your gameplay.

well for the stones, the first Trio you find is really helpful when leveling up, no matter what you want to go, one of the 3 is ever a good pick: warrior, mage and thief. i was never a thiefy player, but the other 2 are big helpers for my 2h sword swinging ironclad fighter char and my conjourer char. later on the horse stone is my switchpick for the fighter.

Whatever suits your needs, but I almost always end up at Arkay. 25 extra health seems to serve me better than any of the other shrine buffs.

I need to find Arkay, walking into Haemar's Shame at level 20 wasnt a good plan. Finally managed to clear it :D

Yikes. Yeah, that isn't the greatest neighborhood. I know there's one in the Hall of the Dead, in Whiterun and in Riften. I don't remember the others, because I never really go into them.

I have armor rating at 90, but died alot. The axe you get from the Jarl in Whiterun is pretty good for vampires.

Hit the Arkay shrine for more health, then take on the Lord Stone to give you some extra armor and magic resistance.
